LinkedIn’s terms of service are designed to weed out activity that resembles unnatural human behaviour.
As well as bot activity, these algorithms sometimes flag up something a human has done.
For example, if someone were to cut and paste the same message to send to 100 people in a short space of time, this would attract the attention of LinkedIn as unnatural behavior.
